Commander is the a Vistor rank of the second in charge or can be used to decribe the captain of a vessel this individual is responsable for the day to day running of the fleet

Commander are chosen to lead if somthing happens to the high or supreme commanders.Many of these induviduals are power hungry people and want control they are skilled line officers. Most known commanders are Original series:Diana,Lydia,New series Marcus

Field Commanders wear three lines for rank and Mothership Commanders Wore 2 for the rank of captain of ship in the original series they wore many orange uniform variations.
