Type 1 heavy laser
Vehicle-mounted/Fixed-Mount laser Cannons were used by the Visitors during their second invasion of Earth. They functioned similarly to the smaller laser pistols and rifles used by shock troopers, but were far more powerful and used as squad support and anti-vehicle weapons.
Type 2 heavy laser
They came in two main configurations: a smaller version approximately the same size as an M-60 machine gun and a larger version closer in size to an M-2 heavy machine gun, both of which were typically pintle-mounted on jeeps for mobility. The heavier version fired a red bolt of energy instead of the typical blue-white bolt.
